The other side of life!

Life is not easy and it has never been. It comes with challenges, difficulties, pain and betrayal to go through any day. Everyday we are faced with challenges as a nation just like any other nation out there. Recently the worst of them all is our economical crisis. The employed are struggling to sustain their needs. I can't imagine what the unemployed are going through just to survive on daily basis. "This is the reality that is happening this side, however there is the other side."

South Africa is a blessed and beautiful country. A strong nation that is equipped with all the capabilities to achieve anything it believes in. Though life is unpredictable, but we as a nation we shouldn't allow our eyes to concentrate only on one side. We should see the other side as well. There are reasons why there is left and right side in life. We were also taught in early grades at school that what we do on the left hand side we should also do on the right hand side. Which simply means never ignore the other side. There are two sides in life, just like there are two sides in every story. And as a nation we should refuse to see only the worst side of life, there is the other good side.

Once we train our minds to see the best out of the worst, then we shall come forth with solutions for any problems we encounter as a nation. Where these unemployment we can create employment. Where these poverty we can create empowerment initiatives. Where these dire sicknesses we should improve health services and promote a healthy life style. Where these racial issues we should create genuine reconciliation dialogues. Where these poor governance we should demand  accountability and change. We should stop the "blame game" and give our lives a meaning. We should see the beautiful side of life, the blessed side of our country. We were all born with a purpose, and that purpose is to make life better for others. So let us all pray to see the other side!
