The Zimbabwe's Economic Freedom Fighters (ZEFF) Commander-in-Chief, Innocent Ndibali has applauded President Emmerson Mnangagwa for finally considering their call for “One family, one farm" policy.

While speaking in a live interview with a local radio station, Mnangagwa disclosed that an ongoing land audit has revealed that most High ranking officials are multiple farm owners with former First Lady Grace Mugabe having 16 farms, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has revealed.

"The land audit has covered eight out of ten provinces. We have encountered some contradictions because there are some high ranking officials who own multiple farms," said Mnangagwa.

“I know of a certain lady called Stop It who owns 16 farms. There are some high ranking officials who have registered farms under relatives, some of them toddlers. After the audit, all multiple farm owners would be exposed and have the properties dispossed and left with one farm each."

A jovial Ndibali expressed gratitude on the exposing of the former First Family and urged Mnangagwa to implement the “one family, one farm" policy without fail.

“I want to welcome president Mnangagwa's stance and encourage him to act on Mugabe and his Stop It hypocrite wife as a priority," said Ndibali.

Last year, the government exposed the former president Robert Mugabe who is said to be owning 21 farms – meaning that the two Mugabes own 37 farms in total.

Meanwhile, Ndibali has also challenged Mnangawa to halt the evictions of citizens across the country.

“I am also calling on the president to stop evictions of our people across the country in farms and villages. This is a serious matter which the president must consider immediate."

Ndibali also called upon all citizens to support the Political Actors Dialogue (Polad) which seeks to foster unity among Zimbabweans.

Soon after the elections which were held in July 2018, Mnangagwa with political actors in the national dialogue met and adopted a code of conduct to promote conditions encouraging dialogue and build on political tolerance, mutual respect, consensus, information dissemination and commitment to principles outlined in the dialogue.

“As ZEFF we are determined to contribute to the betterment of the lives of the majority of the people of Zimbabwe. We want to see the national economy re-booting with jobs and employment opportunities being created for our people.

“Our main reason and purpose for participating in the ongoing Political Actors Dialogue is to make a positive and patriotic contribution towards the governance of our country. Although we are not in Government, we believe that as a patriotic, progressive Pan-Africanist and people-centred political party, we should be afforded the opportunity and forum to put across our views and suggestions on how the country should be governed.

“Our expectations are to have a mature, mutually respectful, patriotic and progressive national discourse where all pertinent issues are robustly discussed and debated without fear or favour. Where we disagree with the Zanu-PF led Government of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, we will clearly and fearlessly articulate the areas."
