Alpha Media Holdings Boss and Presidential Advisor Trevor Ncube says the new Minister of Energy and Power Development Advocate Fortune Chasi has the correct energy needed to turn around the energy sector.

Said Ncube, "My #AmazingZimbabwean for May is Advocate Fortune Chasi who made being Deputy Minister of Transport & Infrastructure Development so cool that he got promoted to be Minister of Energy and Power Development.

"Advocate @fortunechasi ‘s appointment to lead Energy and Power Development is a timely and welcome change. The nation needs his energy and consultative approach to resolve our power and energy mess."

Ncube added that Chasi is a sociable person who provided excellent leadership during the Cyclone Idai disaster which struck the country in May.

"Fortune is an amiable and accessible person with a disarming sense of humor. He is a lawyer, politician, musician  and a boxer who is proud of his patriotic front

"His hands on leadership during the devastating Cylone Idai was an example to many politicians. His style is to lead from the front informed by an ear to ground. We will miss his timely updates on national road construction."

Chasi, who is very vocal on social media, is liked by Zimbabweans across political divide for his approach in handling criticism.
