President Emmerson Mnangagwa is not at ease with the coming SADC and AU Head of States Summit that might discuss the recent developments in Zimbabwe after South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa dispatched a high level delegation to meet ZANU PF leadership recently.

A source from the Office of the President and Cabinet said while the delegation from the African National Congress issued public statement in support of ZANU PF they had a no holds barred behind the scenes confrontation with the leadership regarding the police and army crackdown.

In soon to the confrontation, President Mnangagwa dispatched a number of envoys to deliver his special message to different Head of States in the continent so that they hear his side of the story.

Last week ZANU PF Politiburo member Patrick Chinamasa was dispatched to meet the President's of Botswana and Namibia.

Today Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta announced that he received Perence Shiri with a special message from Zimbabwe.

"Today at State House, Nairobi, I hosted special envoy Air Chief Marshal (Rtd) Perence Shiri of Zimbabwe, who delivered a special message from President Emmerson Mnangagwa. I am glad to know that Zimbabwe is working towards addressing its challenges." Kenyatta said.

"Kenya continues to stand in solidarity with Zimbabwe as the country works to solve its challenges. Imposing sanctions on a country is like tying somebody's hands and feet. We will give our support to bring back Zimbabwe to the global platform."

On Tuesday Zambian President Edgar Lungu received Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa as a special envoy with a special message from President Mnangagwa.

Ambassador Mutsvangwa was accompanied by Zimbabwean Ambassador to Zambia, Gertrude Ratidzo Takawira.
